My jewelry decorates people but my art hardware embellishes homes. With other
pioneers of artist made furniture/hardware, my switch plates earned me the title
of one of the "new barbarians," in Newsweek, something my mother proclaimed
not news to her.

One lucky Saturday morning as the NY Times editor rushed to the corner for the
latest edition and a bagel, he caught me in the act of installing the display
of my future history hardware in my little shop window. Thus my talent was discovered
and I became a hardware star in the columns of the home section.

Later in LA, when Walter Matthieu, received his edition of the times and read
it over his morning coffee, he was so tickled he rang up and ordered them for
his LA abode.
English phone booth handles
inspired the commission for these handles on Keith Richards night table
And both the Breitling Watch
Company and Willie G's Harley Davidson Museum use these silver wings for their
display.
I welcome projects for detailing
the home.
