Finding a virtual miniature village in my backyard in Sag Harbor, I restored the chicken house, horse barn, tin-lizzie garage and children's playhouse, embellishing them with miniature towers and widow walks. The queen of this miniature village down the old stone path stood the outhouse which received columns, posts, and an illuminated steeple. It was with great pride as it appeared as the cover girl for the Sag Harbor Express springtime gardening issue, the most famous outhouse in town.
